Acus heeft varianten op de populaire ONE-5T, ONE-6T en de ONE-8 uitgebracht met een zgn tilt-back, waardoor deze modellen ook makkelijk als monitor te gebruiken zijn door ze op de schuine achterkant neer te zetten, waardoor het geluid eenvoudig op de speler gericht kan worden. De ONE-5TC, ONE-6TC en ONE-8C zijn naast de reguliere modellen verkrijgbaar.

De Acus ONE-8 is een 200 Watt combo versterker voor akoestische instrumenten en zang. Een zeer veelzijdige versterker met 3 kanalen (2 x microfoon 1 x lijn), vierband toonregeling per kanaal, de keuze uit 8 verschillende digitale effecten.

De veelzijdigheid van dit model wordt nog versterkt door de aanwezigheid van een AUX input met een eigen volume regelaar en een 2-Band EQ, 2 direct outputs (LINE en REC) en een resonance filter waarmee uit rondzingen kunt onderdrukken.
De hoofdtelefoon uitgang met eigen volume regelaar en 8 hoogwaardige digitale effecten maken de Acus One 8 helemaal compleet.

Acus Sound Engineering ontwikkelde the OneforStrings serie om akoestische instrumenten te versterken, met name akoestische en klassieke gitaren, met behoud van hun natuurlijke klank en resonantie. Oneforstrings versterkers zijn ontworpen in een minimalistische, elegante stijl, met custom speakers, behuizing en hoogwaardige electronische componenten. De combinatie van al deze elementen maakt het mogelijk alle harmonischen op natuurlijke wijze te versterken. Oneforstrings kan ook gebruikt worden als mini PA systeem. Het is een veelzijdig en toegankelijk systeem, met een breed spectrum aan functies toegespitst op akoestische instrumenten.

De productlijn, waarvan de ontwikkeling nooit stilstaat, bestaat uit 4 versterkers en een zgn. extension (voor degenen die eenvoudigweg het bereik van hun systeem willen uitbreiden zonder de klank te beïnvloeden). Iedere unit verschilt in het aantal kanalen en het vermogen, tegemoetkomend aan de wensen van musici.

Het innovatieve en stijlvolle bedieningspaneel voorziet in custom gestijlde knoppen, precies en functioneel. De ingebouwde equaliser kan frequenties aanpassen zonder de originele klank te onderdrukken, ook in het hoge en lage register. De hele serie heeft meerdere kanalen en een reverb met exclusieve Acus processoren. De versterkers zijn ook voorzien van line outs, mic en een aux input (voor bv het aansluiten van een Mp3 speler of smartphone).

In nauwe samenwerking met enkele professionele muzikanten hebben de technici van Acus een lijn versterkers kunnen creëren met een warme klank, die associaties oproept met buizenversterkers en studio-apparatuur. De bi-amped designs met class A eindtrappen staan aan de basis van het brede klankspectrum dat de versterkers van Acus met hoge precisie weten weer te geven.

De speakers worden in Italië gemaakt volgens de Acus richtlijnen. Ieder model heeft de capaciteit te reageren op veranderende dynamiek.

De compacte en lichtgewicht behuizing is handgemaakt van lichtgewicht hout, met de juiste grootte-vermogen verhouding. De naturel versie legt nadruk op het minimalistische ontwerp en looks van Acus producten. Het hout is berkenhout met een beschermend polyester toplaagje, de zwarte en witte uitvoeringen hebben een krasvaste watergedragen lak.

De afwerking, zoals de beschermende metalen gril en handvatten zijn unieke kenmerken, met aandacht voor detail en functionaliteit ontworpen.

Acus Sound Engineering developed the Oneforstrings range to amplify the sound level of all acoustic instruments (notably acoustic and classical guitars) without altering their natural tone or resonance. Oneforstrings amps are designed in minimalist style, with custom speakers, cabinets and highly reliable electronic components, all together capable of amplifying harmonics with natural tone. Oneforstrings can also be used as a mini PA system. It is versatile and responsive, with a full range of functions specifically tailored for acoustic instruments.

The product line, which is in continual development, consists of 4 amplifiers and an extension (for those who simply want to expand the sound reach of their own amplifiers without altering tone). Each unit differs from the other by channels and power, meeting all musicians’ requirements.

The innovative and stylish control panel features custom styled knobs, micrometric and functional. With equalisation, the tone controls modify frequency levels without suppressing the original note, even at lower and upper registers. The whole range also features multiple channels and reverb with processors exclusive to Acus. Also provided are line outs, mic and auxiliary inputs.

Acus’ designers, in consultation with top-flight instrumentalists, have developed bi-amplified power sections in the electronic components capable of creating a high bandwidth and slew-rate. Within the preamplifiers there are class A output stages in strategic positions, able to offer a very warm valve-like tone typical of studio amps.

– The speakers are made in Italy to Acus’ specifications. Each model has the capacity to respond to changes in dynamics.

– The compact and lightweight speaker cabinet is handmade in natural wood, with the correct size to power ratio. The natural version emphasises the minimalist design and look of Acus products. It is birch ply with a protective polyester top coat.

– The accessories – such as the protective metal grille and carry handles – are unique specifications, with real attention to design detail and functionality.
