De innovatieve Crossover Serie biedt instrumenten aan met een smallere hals, een rondere toets en een nieuw, innovatief elementsysteem. Een echte crossover gitaar! Dé gitaar voor gitaristen die gewend zijn aan het gevoel van een staalsnarige gitaar of electrische gitaar, maar het geluid van een nylonsnarige gitaar zoeken.

De aangepaste hals en de kleinere klankkast passen perfect bij de bespeelbaarheid. Dit is een bijzonder aangename gitaar. De smallere hals van 48 mm met een radius in de toets vallen direct in de smaak bij eerder genoemde gitaristen.
Dit instrument heeft een hals/klankkast overgang bij de 14e fret, de mensuur is wat korter met 640 mm, hierdoor klinkt de gitaar ronder dan normaal is bij een 14 fret klassieke gitaar. Bovendien is de bereikbaarheid van de eerste posities beter dan bij een standaard mensuur en 14 fret combinatie.

Een echte crossover gitaar!

Deze MP14RW heeft een massief fichte bovenblad en Indisch palissander voor de zij- en achterkant. Een combinatie die een krachtig en helder geluid zal opleveren. Een bekend geluid van de meer traditionelere klassieke gitaren.

Het innovatieve Martinez SFT elementsysteem is zeer innovatief. Bestaand uit een piëzo element en een interne microfoon wordt het geluid bijzonder natuurlijk weergegeven. Er is echter nog een speciale functie waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van een op het achterblad geplaatste driver. Deze laat het achterblad fungeren als luidspreker. Op die manier kunt u, terwijl u niet aangesloten bent op een versterker, de interne effecten toeveogen aan uw akoestische geluid! De interne effecten zijn een galm (room of jhall) en een vertragingseffect (chorus of delay). Een uniek kenmerk dat op geen enkele nylonsnarig instrument te vinden is.
De interne 18650 batterij (zelfde type als Tesla 7104 stuks van in hun model S en X plaatst!) is oplaadbaar.

Lithium ion presteert beter dan NiMh of NiCd:
– 30% lichter
– vrijwel geen zelfontlading
– vrij van giftige stoffen als cadmium en kwik
– laadt sneller op
– kent geen ‘geheugen-effect’ (afnemende capaciteit wanneer een niet-volledig ontladen cel weer opgeladen wordt)

The innovative Crossover series offers instruments with a narrower neck, a radiused fingerboard and a new, innovative pickup system.
The smaller body feels very comfortable and playability is spot-on. The ideal guitar for steelstring or electric guitarplayers. These players are mainly used to a narrower neck than the standard classical guitarneck of 52 mm. Another feature that is taken from the steelstring guitars is the radiused fingerboards. A big improvement in playability for this specific group of guitarists.
This insturment has a body/neck connection at the 14th fret, another feature that will feel familiar for the steelstring guitarist. We have combined this feature with a slightly shorter scale. This way the playability is enhanced and the sound improved.

The MP14RW has a solid spruce top and rosewood sides and back. A classic wood combination with a bold and clear tone.
The Martinez STF pickup system is a revelation to the ear. The undersaddle pickup with combined microphone system not only amplify the natural tone very accurately, this system has some special features: Internally installed on the back of the guitar is a driver that makes the back respond like a loudspeaker. So, without being plugged in, you can add effects to your acoustic tone. Available are two different reverbs, chorus or delay. A unique feature, not found on any other nylonstring guitar. The internal 18650 battery (same type as Tesla installs 7104 pcs of in their model S and X cars!) is rechargeable.
